Emerald Quick-Wick
It comes across as rather a sad joke that a man who is terrified to leave his home would lead a town that is terrified to leave the mountain.Emerald Quick-Wick is a 60 year old fire Genasi who acts as the baron of Bloomwilt and has made his reign successful not through military prowess like most of The Kae, nor through cunning like most Peridot barons. Instead, Baron Quick-Wick was an outstanding miner and transmuter who brought the clockwork city design to Bloomwilt to solve it's problems with realisations amid it's expanding size. This, coupled with alliances he built with Sanctuary and Homestead as his neighbours. Immediately ensured a measure of security for the town for Emerald to enact his vision. In the two decades since then, Emerald has governed the town of Bloomwilt effectively, though his rule has recently come into question after he was discovered to have been struggling with agoraphobia after a Nocta Mori had assaulted him in the expanse of Kaechaek. Quick-Wick is a rather thin fire genasi who tends to wear a full suit and jumper combo despite their natural warmth and they are a rather dull flame with an ash colouration to them and two scars on their cheekbones from a poor interaction with The Drifters. Upon meeting him, The Kaechaek Party realised Emerald was a rather scatter brained and inefficient mayor who was under considerable pressure due to being overworked and did not have much skill in conversation after insulting Fionn as a spook and revealing that they had been conned before by several adventurers recently.
