Power is just that... why should we fear wizards taking their natural next steps in knowledge... that is, after all, what it means to be an arcanist!Sabria Lilk is a former member of The Magus Arcanum and a friend of Nashien Calcus during his days with The Woven Providence. She has been staying in The Smiling Rock in Bloomwilt in order to train Calcus' adopted daughter Xauna to master her abilities stemming from her Nightmare birth. Sabria is an afflicted Drow from Peridot who was born in Loth but sent away by her parents to work in The Jewelled Land of Amethyst to work alongside The Magus Arcanum. She has mastered shadow magic since and has even been approached to become a part of the Magus Simulacra but has refused their offers so far before moving to Kaechaek to train Xauna and study the biology of the Nightmares. Upon meeting Sabria, Hermione learned that she was an unapologetic and aggressive mage who believed in power and knowledge above all else. The two of them made a deal in which Sabria gifted Hermione with a tome to help her practice and improve her arcane skill and gave her information that saved her from a trap set by The Woven Providence and, in return, Hermione would prove her ability in the coming weeks... if she could not prove she had learned from the book, Sabria revealed that she would leak Hermione's location to the Woven Providence and would reveal her family's lies to the people of Vallea. On further meetings, Sabria has shown her callous ruthlessness; discarding Xauna as her apprentice after the nightmare was accused of murder and left in The Migration of Bloomwilt and then pushing Hermione towards the Warding Sect with her view that wizards attempts to become patrons marked true arcanists.
