Nashien Calcus
He seems aloof sure, but that's only because he reserves all of his tenderness for Xauna.Nashien is a darker skinned human innkeeper living in Bloomwilt who owns The Smiling Rock. He is a former member of The Woven Providence in Vallea who retired after the inn came into his hands and he saw it as the sign that fate was telling him to retire. Nashien is a quiet and reserved barman who makes a point of building his inn to reflect that with a relaxed atmosphere and energy. He ran his inn to a small measure of success in this way for a number of years until he adopted Xauna after finding the child nightmare on the streets of Bloomwilt. Nashien raised Xauna as his own and she has become a loved member of the Smiling Rock tavern and the Middle Ring community whilst he has worked hard to raise as her as well as he could. Nashien also is the brother of Mariah Calcus and a former (now retired) member of The Woven Providence. Notably, he became aware of Hermione whilst the party were staying in Bloomwilt and contacted the providence to send assassins to deal with her. He also requested Fionn Tadgh's help in assisting his sister with her recurring wolven nightmares. Nashien left town in pursuit of his daughter Xauna after she was a part of The Migration of Bloomwilt
