A Dwarf who works under Emerald as one of the three ring rulers in Bloomwilt.
Artur Coric is a pot-bellied and bearded Dwarf with a powerful build and raven black hair who was raised as a miner in
Bloomwilt and gained respect and appreciation for his truly mythic skill with a pickaxe... in the mines...
For Artur Coric completed the most ore mining in an hour in the history of
Bloomwilt and still holds that record to this day. Despite the annual
Mine-Off event being organised to attempt to break this record.
Coric is a former
Sanctuary soldier who worked under
Emperor Honour before leaving due to injuries sustained in combat. Instead, Coric applied his strength to mining and has since earned a promotion to the rank of ring leader by
Emerald Quick-Wick.
When
The Kaechaek Party returned to Bloomwilt after their adventures in
The Wheel they discovered that Coric had recently been murdered with
the Nightmare Xauna being seen as the prime suspect. Upon investigating his offices and the mysterious nature of the killing, the party discovered
Coric's Letter to Honour that revealed he was an 'investigator' for
Emperor Honour who had foreseen many of the events that took place in the campaign including
The Migration of Bloomwilt .
When the party inspected Coric's body it was clear he had been killed by a blast of
Blight and, when they touched his form, they received a vision in which his eyes became a filled black and starry sky and the other eye revealed a letter 'C' in the pupil, similar to another murder victim the party had encountered.
