Lurentia

Lurentia is an ancient city-state nestled deep in the old growth forest called the Shadow Vale . Its many, tall slender towers glisten above the canopy in the sun light. Each tower is the center of one of the city's many guilds, the heads of which form the ruling council. The elven 'long view' has brought stability and prosperity to the region and its influence extends well beyond the city's walls. For millennia the elves of Lurentia maintained a strict isolationist stance, the dense Shadow Vale and frigid Fathomless Sea protecting them from any enemies. However, in the years leading up to, and following, the The Catalyst War , Lurentia has sought to build more ties with the world at large. They continue to maintain a strong alliance with Dunlorn, long after the war's end. They have reached out to many of the wood elf villages in the Shadow Vale, bringing them under their wing, and with the Thelassians for the first time since their separation from the elven homeland.
