Nevada

Nevada is the largest city on Tersten, and capital of the Nevadan Republic. The City is built on the eastern banks of the Jeevan River, which flows from Liberty in the south through to the White Ocean. Unlike many modern designs, the City was developed naturally as opposed to planned, and as a result, the city is often considered a confusing sprawl for most tourists. During the Penal Colony, families and friends of prisoners moved to the planet, in protest and in solidarity, and established the Free City of Nevada on the other side of the planet. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the free city became the primary settlement for escaped and released convicts, who chose to remain on the planet instead of returning to their planet of origins.
Modern Day Nevada is fueled by a robust industrial sector and a thriving agricultural hub, Nevada has seen much needed infrastructural improvements in the recent decades to bring it up to modern standards.The city of Nevada is a large urban settlement with a heavy industrial base. The city has developed with little urban planning, leading to a confusing layout. It developed organically without a central planning committee since it's inception in 2238 until the formation of the People's Republic of Lordania in 2260.
Under the Unitarians, Nevada grew significantly to incorporate several townships in its immediate area. This also saw the creation of the Little Mars suburbs, as well as dam projects on the Jeevan River.
