Perry Winters

Perry Winters is a Tersten politician, and served as President of the Republic of Tersten between 2300 and 2305. Born in Nevada in 2250, Winters was part of the People's Republic of Lordania as the governor of Nevada, where he became sympathetic to the cause of the Tersten Government-in-Exile. Following the establishment of the Republic of Tersten, he continued to serve as the popular Governor of the República De Nevada. In 2300, he was elected as President of Tersten, where his defining policies were the continued expansion of the Tersten oil industry and infrastructure development. His policies attempting to reduce the Tersten Flight  proved unpopular, and failed to curtail the exodus of many young people from the planet. He lost the 2305 election to the current President, Robert J. Mackenzie.
Post-presidency, Winters has once again returned to his home in Nevada, living in semi-retirement.
