Sahamptha Desert

The Sahamptha Desert is a large desert that runs across much of central Tersten.  It comprises much of Tersten's central land, bounded by the Greenlime Mountains to the north, and the Pearlstone mountains to the south. The desert can be divided into three regions, the western Sahamtha, the Mesa Lawless, and the eastern Sahamptha. The region of Lawless is located along the Sahamptha's northern edge, bordering Mora along the Greenlimes. Where Mora, Sahamptha and Calian meet, a large freshwater sea known as the Samaritan Sea has become a source of water for much of the desert. At it's western edge are the cities of Bibisango and Harmony. Harmony is located on the edge of the White Ocean, while Bibisango is located in the Greenlime mountains, on the border between Calama and Vallian.
Few settlements lie within this harsh desert, the most notable of these being Sahamptha itself, the town that either named the desert, or was named by it, something the locals have yet to decide.
