Doh'garus (Dough-gar-us)

The second draconic nation. Through sword, and shield, they earned their independence. Horoth's Siegebreakers defend their borders, and the people within them. Their counsel of six watches over the people, and protects them.

Structure

The power is divided among six draconic bloodlines. These bloodlines form the Siegebreak Council. This council is further divided into three tiers. The head council has the final say on all matters that are brought before them. The second tier is the militaristic management tier. Their matters are almost exclusively bound to Doh'garus' military. The third tier is the geopolitical relations tier. They deal with foreign matters. Mainly, this consists of trade negotiations between them, and Midor. Though the head council has the final say, the two others have heavy influence on said final say.

Culture

This nation was forged from war, and as such, the military is treated with utmost respect. They recognize their draconic origan and display it in all things, from dragon themed blades to dragon statues on the buildings.

Public Agenda

Doh'garus was forged as a result of a lack of freedom. Everyone aims only to maintain the freedom that their ancestors fought, and died for.

Demography and Population

The population of Doh'garus is mainly focused around the southern half of the territory, mainly around the temple of Tilliat. They view it as the closest way to gain knowledge from Tilliat.

Military

Their military consists of a few thousand draconin soldiers. Their strongest unit, called Horoth's Siegebreakers, is the unit that broke the Fafnian line. It has fought every war that has come over the horizon ever since.

Religion

The common religion inhabits nearly all of Doh'garus. However, there are a few minute differences. They worship Deos as the creator of all things like everyone else. Like Fafnia, they worship Horoth, and Arotha as their saviors. They recognize the last two dragons Tilliat and Matrias as prophets of Deos' messages.

Foreign Relations

The relations between Doh'garus, and Fafnia have healed since the Fafnian civil war. However, they find themselves frequently at war with Heodar. Ever since Belimir Derther killed the dragon, Belon. The relations between Dogarus, and Heodar have only gotten worse.

Agriculture & Industry

Their main industry is a metal called scalestone. It is not nearly as strong, or light as the dwarven Theorium, but when combined with it, it makes something stronger. This combination is called Blood Plate, for its dark red color. They are the sole providers of the Zaerta. as they only breed in the warmth of the southern landmass.

Education

Each draconin within Doh'garus is trained with blade. They are taught basic life skills, and why their religion is important. They are taught basic knowledge all around.

Infrastructure

The Akkara River provides transport from the southern coast, to the central territory, and to the western villages. The farms near the mountains to the east supply the food needed to feed the people of Doh'garus. The orcish conquest left an alertness in the minds of the council at the time, and a wall was constructed along the western coast.

Cosmological Views

The draconin are told by Tilliat, and Matrias of how Deos made the dragons first. They are told how the draconin were made from the first dragons. Though, not even Tilliat, in is near infinite wisdom knows for sure how Eternity itself came to be. Many think it was made by Deos, but the presence of the dark magics that live in the shadows, and the unknown suggests otherwise.
