Doh'garus and Fafnia United

Marriage

The return of Kainox the Undying, and the adventure that it had caused took an already thriving relationship between draconin man and woman, and made it stronger. These two draconin were of substantial status among their people, the man being a member of the Doh'garus council, and the woman the daughter of duke Nerek Haedros of Fafnia.

Kainox's conquest was stopped by two draconin who already had a powerful bond. Sprizen Akkamara, and Sudea Haedros both had substantial status among their nations. Especially considering the massive feat they had recently achieved. They continued to see eachother for a short while after the event, but they soon decided to bind themselves to eachother forever. This would either be encouraged, or forbidden, as they both have substantial status among their people, and to do so would force an alliance among the two.   Both nations would need to aprove of an alliance in order for the two to do so. Sprizen needed just a majority in the council. The Netumbe bloodline was biased against the entire Akkamara name, so he voted against the concept. Sprizen's mother, Sathona voted towards the concept. The Evaros bloodline was easily convinced to aprove as he to had eyes for a Fafnian woman. Counting his own, Sprizen had three of the required four votes. The Eurlon council member withheld her vote, and remained neutral. The Idrias bloodline was on the fence about this, as on one side, if it were aproved by both Doh'garus and Fafnia, it would cause an alliance, if Fafnia were to refuse, it could cause tensions between the two.   To Sprizen's luck, he aproved, as to have Fafnia as an ally would increase security among the people, and would cause a stable peace among the draconic nations even more so than they have now. All that was left was the Fafnian king's say. He rather liked the thought of an alliance between Doh'garus and Fafnia. He voted toward the union.   Sprizen and Sudea married shortly thereafter. Their marriage forged a more perminant alliance between Doh'garus, and Fafnia.
