Bataille de Windsor

Military: Battle

473a.D.

  • Bretons (Aurelius)
  • Saxons (Aesc) (victoire décisive)
  • Renom : 45 x 1d6 x 0,5

  • Æsc of Kent, reinforced by continental Saxons and confident of victory, marches his army into the Thames Valley. High King Aurelius Ambrosius raises an army to resist, but loses the battle in a major Saxon victory. Prince Uther blames the meager reinforcements from ‘faithless vassals’, singling out Duke Gorlois of Cornwall in particular. Some others might point the finger towards Uther’s impetuous charge. Regardless, the Duke of the Vale is killed in the battle.
