  • Paschent, last British son of Vortigern, sails up the Humber with an army of Saxons and diehard Vortigern Loyalists (the Gewisse) to regain his father’s throne. He raids Cumbria and northern parts of Logres, continuing down the River Trent. He is brought to battle by a coalition of Cymric forces at Carrick, in Bedegraine.
