  • High King Loegaire invades Western Cambria from the north and the south. Vortimer and Katigern unite their forces and a decisive battle is fought at Aberstwyth, which the Cambrians lose again, despite reinforcements (coming mainly from Cumbria). They are driven back to the central mountains of Cambria, leaving the whole western half of Cambria in Irish control.
