Snow-Rock Bailumism

A religion brought back to popularity on the back of a sinner? Perhaps the term "sinner" has lost its meaning.

-Nostula Turases
Snow-Rock Bailumism is a combination of the original human explanation for the universe (Bailum, Ornjack, The Serpent) with greater expansion of the pantheon. The pantheon would eventually spread into the pantheon we can see in Taopinism today with the Ohdaufeen, Ohdaufehl, and Aufalten. This is one of the two human religions that exist today and holds more closely to Paleo Bailumism. The main difference between this religion and Taopinism is the purpose behind many actions.   Paleo Bailumism is rare in the modern era, but not extinct. These people believe hard and fast that Bailum and Ornjack are the only accurate beings today. Snow-Rock Bailumism remains popular in Shellbay and the Isles due to its expansive pantheon providing an idol for an individual of any background.

Origin

This religious organization would develop in part thanks to Kanel Logratte's push to widen the existing pantheon. The shift to this sect as a recognized religion would begin in 168 MN with "The Morgunn Explosion."

Modern Implementation

Snow-Rock Bailumism is revered as the religion under which the Bailum Consilium operates. All Saltkrigere Paladins revere this priesthood, all Shellbay citizens revere the paladins, and all of the priests revere Bailum. As such, it is only natural for the religion to trickle throughout the land as paladins perform miracles, defend citizens, and spread the faith.   While it is possible to find churches to this religion anywhere in Trinen, it is most common throughout Shellbay and the Snow Rock Isles. Unlike Taopinism, the priesthood takes an active role in daily life and relegates most roles of research and medicine to ordinated members.

After the Silence

Following The Silence (1792 MD), Snow-Rock Bailumism would explode back to popularity as Efan Turases became a household name and modern hero. Member of the Company of Fools and excommunicated from the church he loved, Efan would assist in ending Arniel Kane's corruption in the name of Bailum. By the end of the conflict, Efan was welcomed back into the church and made archduke of imperial Mot D'nir, leading to a resurgence of Bailumism across the west coast.
