Unionist Party

The Unionist Party, originally the Federalist Party, is one of the prominent political parties in the Kingdom of America. The party was formed after the failure of the Federalist Party to garner popular support in 1805. This was due to the idea that the Federalists became the party of the aristocrats and not of the people. The Unionists campaign on a platform of national unity and a strong federal government, as well as economic investment and foreign trade. The party is monarchical, and is among the strongest supporters of the throne. The political symbol of the party is of a crown, symbolizing their connection to the monarchy, and the color blue is heavily associated with them.

Public Agenda

The Unionist Party has long been a supporter of a strong federal government. Through their ideology of political unity, they have been known to form strong coalitions when not in power. They support public funding of infrastructure, and a universal federal banking system. This is under the notion that the American economy depends on federal economic oversight. They believe the role of the federal government is to establish a foreign and economic policy and the nation's defense.
