Tuiravi Amliris
Elder Tuiravi Diaelan Amliris, Ward of Tulyátar
Of course they'd be proud of her, darling. Look at her.Tuiravi Amliris is an accomplished druid and a powerful Querei leader who brooks no argument and rarely bothers with the political affairs of outsiders, instead spending her time researching ways the Querei might learn, thrive, and live in harmony with one another. She is one of few Querei elders to regularly travel from Sathelis to other areas of Iskaldhal and beyond, having enlisted her parent's help in establishing a network of unique trees around the nation through which she can travel by her druidic abilities. As a druid trained to respect and honour leylines, she is incredibly sensitive to the changes in the world and uses this travel to understand the constant shifting nature of her homelands, as well as to enable trade with more distant areas of Iskaldhal. Tuiravi was one of the first mortals to observe the major shift in ley behaviour as a result of the Harp of Virtue and note it as seriously abberant, despite the shard's presence in the area for countless long years. She kept this knowledge secret from all but Azsire, and was asked to keep the information as secret as she could. When Syrin Elathien and his group arrived in Sathelis and their wizard broke into the Querei vaults in search of information - resulting in said wizard's summary execution - she was greatly concerned as to why Azsire volunteered to accompany them. His reassurance was not comforting, particularly when he next appeared to her by illusion magic instead. Though her duties keep her busy with her children and the Querei, Tuiravi's patience wears thin with the little information she receives from her parent as worry wars with fear. The brief visits as of late have done little to assure her of his safety, and though she knows she cannot aid too greatly with the burden he carries, she is nonetheless of a mind to seek him out to help. Soon, if possible.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Tuiravi is a tall, lightly muscular, and surprisingly dextrous woman of average constitution and build. She's perhaps a little thinner than she should be, prioritising her children and the other members of her tribe above herself when the food stores run thin, but otherwise seems to be in fine health. Despite her age, she appears ethereally healthy, having not gained a single wrinkle or grey hair (other than those inherited from her mother, of course) since she was just newly an adult - something that is both blessing and curse when it comes to dealing with strangers.
She wears a number of tattoos on her body, inscribed with a cosmohaematological quill to infuse them with magic. Many are for decoration, but even those carry elements of the story of her life with her - whether that be the tale of how she got her favourite pet wolf, or the memorials inscribed to her parents, or the celebrations of her children's lives.

Personal history
Tuiravi's history is kept close to her heart, and shared with few.
The information written within is considered secret and precious by the character it is about. Players in the campaign should not read this section if they have not been given the privilege of knowing her well enough to receive it.
Tuiravi is the daughter of Hrizse Diaelan and Iuvaeni Amliris, and to some extent both the adopted daughter and ward of Azsire Tulyátar. Her biological parents passed away when she was still young, leaving her in the care of Hrizse's mother and Iuvaeni's (surprisingly large) family as they went to their deaths.
Despite this most tragic start, Tuiravi flourished in Querei care, settled safely in the Tower of Sathelis. For many years, the only news the Querei held of her parents was a sharp, emotionless missive proclaiming that both Iuvaeni and Hrizse had fallen. Without news of Azsire, and with few knowing of the trio's quarrels, Tuivari's family raised her with stories of the three as equal parents. She grew to admire her mother's tenacity, her father's wisdom, and her other parent's magical skill - and though her family was not small, she grew up wishing she could know more of the ones who had chosen her. The memories she held tight were never enough.
Five decades. Five. Fifty long years passed before she again met Azsire, and the meeting was more by chance than by intent. Tuiravi had set out to walk the Unguided Path, and yet the bitter winter had swept across her expedition in a shock of unexpected weather. The snow was fierce, and though they were near the mountains still, almost near Nisrei territory, they knew not where the caves were. The snow stole all vision. The chances of their survival were slim.
Yet an avatar knows much of the land, and the expedition was in luck. Snow and ice rose up around them, and for a moment the whole group froze in terror. Instead of crushing them or revealing some horrifying creature, however, the ice became their shelter, and through it stepped Azsire. Whatever discussions or thanks may have occurred were immediately cut off, for Tuiravi had been raised well. She knew her parents, and this was one - she bolted for Azsire, and once her hug was secure, threatened to never let go.
I've been waiting for you for fifty years! Promise me you'll stay-- or you'll have to make me leave. He lingered for the rest of her Walk, cold and quiet - a contrast to the smirking, witty figure she'd been told of, but even not yet an adult, Tuiravi knew that the tragedies of the past could have changed him. Thus, being kind, she granted her parent the peace he seemed to desire until her mission was complete, and Azsire, for his part, interfered in the ancient tradition as little as possible. And when it was done, and he still did not leave, Tuiravi went to him again and plead for him to stay with her, even if it wasn't all of the time. As if unable to refuse, he gave in. Though his appearances were still fairly rare, and oft reserved only for Tuiravi, she would at least see her parent every month or so - and with greater frequency as she began to excel in magic. When she lost her first long-term partner - the other woman had fallen for someone else and regrettably ended their relationship - she summoned her parent to her, rather than the family she had grown up with. When her grandmother passed away gracefully, her last link to her father's family, it was Azsire who she chose to grieve with, the grief carried loudly for them both. As time went on, they built a genuine relationship - one secret and sacred to the two of them, discussed rarely with anyone else of the Querei. Tuivari excelled as a druid in her own right, divine power coming to her easily and naturally, and none could even suggest that it was Azsire's fault - after all, she had no biological link to the avatar, and he was an arcane mage instead. She eventually found her own partner in a lovely ambassador from the Nisrei, and spent much time and energy debating whether they should stay in Sathelis or move to Mt Firanthul - eventually, Tuivari won that debate when her future mother-in-law went on a lengthy tirade about how the Elsrei were fools, the Isyrei had a death wish, and the Querei were small-minded. Her partner was almost glad to move, after that. The two have three children, each of them cherished - each of them kept far from the pains of the past, as far as their parents can keep them.
