United Nations
The home of Humanity, and still the largest power in the solar system, the United Nations is the space facing side of Earth, and the controlling government of most space based ventures in cis-terran space, including Luna. In addition, the colonies on Venus are legal protectorates of the UN, with a view to eventually join as a country like Luna. However, the nations still exist, and squabble underneath, and the UN is legally not permitted to act within the Karmen Limit. As such, the UN only receives a small percentage of national budgets for space based activities, as internal conflicts still happen, and countries would rather keep their money for themselves, even if space investments tend to return 2-3x. The UN is fundamentally just the united front that is put on for dealing with external threats. Wars, border skirmashes, and diplomatic incidents continue on earth.
The modern UN is controlled by multiple bodies, most comprised of representatives from member nations. As such, land-side disagreements and conflicts often spill out into legislation and action. While the UN is generally united when it comes to matters of dealing with an exterior force such as the PDRM or the GGC, closer to home constant disagreements pop up.
Currently, the UN is majorly commanded by 3 groups, the Eastern Bloc, the CAR and the United American states. While these groups squabble between themselves, and alliances slowly shift, generally they will lean more towards one of the other powers in the SS over another. Currently, the CAR is aligning itself with the GGC, and the Eastern Bloc has recently started supporting the PDRM more often than not.
Generally, many of the larger powers within the UN have their own small spacecraft operations, with a few even having small navies that are independent of the UNN through spacial dispensation, mostly based on seniority (i.e. the CAR had a small spaceforce of 3 orbital tugs before the founding of the UNN, and so maintain the capability to have 3 ships of a certain size under their exclusive control). Generally, these will accompany the UNN on missions that are specifically helping the nation they are from.

Military
United Nations Space Force is the largest, most powerful, and most technologically advanced power in the SS. They are primary a Space Navy, with a few hundred major ships, but also run a Peacekeeper corp, for ground operations.

In all but a few highly specialized fields, the UN as a whole is ahead of everyone else.
Foreign Relations
Can easily defeat and overwhelm either of the other two powers, though it is thought the two together may stand a chance. In general, tends to be a little too earth-centric for spacers to ally with them.
Agriculture & Industry
The United Nations does not directly control much industry, with most of it handled by component nations. However, Collins Station, as well as some Lunar refineries and orbital foundries are directly run by them, providing income and a healthy source of material
Trade & Transport
All UN based trade is either entirely space based, or space to ground. As such, they heavily utilize mass drivers, as well as a few space elevators, orbital rings, laser propulsion systems and the very occasional fusion shuttle. They operate a subsidized service throughout the UN controlled sphere, offering 25% off the typical ticket cost to encourage trade and transit. They remain profitable in these endeavors by operating their own orbital lasers and long range laser shuttles.

Legislative Body
UN Congress and Senate must have a majority approval of all laws and actions. Security matters also require approval from Security Council. Practically however, the various committees and groups make things happen, with only broad oversight from the electorate. Generally the UN will only take action in space with overwhelming support, and action on earth with near total support. The rest of the time it just chugs along.
Judicial Body
The International Court of Justice in the Hague but they meet rarely and have little police power.
