Gas Giant Coalition
The Gas Giant Coalition is a loose coalition between the four gas giants, agreeing to share technology, military and diplomatic efforts for protection and mutual benefit. They are the third largest power in the SS, and the smallest major power, but throws around a significant bulk due to economy mostly based on the export of He3, a vital resource for the modern SS. In addition, they provide many of the gases necessary for the terraforming of Mars, as well as providing nitrogen and hydrogen to around 60% of space habitats.
Structure
The government meets on Ganymede, with 7 reps from Saturn, 5 reps from Uranus and Neptune, 3 reps each from Ganymede, Europa and Callisto, 1 rep from Io, to discuss and vote on actions and laws for all 4, once per Terran year for 1 month. Most of the time though, all decisions are handled at the planetary level, with only external matters handled by the GGC. A permanent bureaucracy exists to enact the committees wishes when they are not there.

History
Established among growing concerns among the growing tension between the UN and the PDRM in 2182 by the colonists of Jupiter and Saturn. It was expanded to include Uranus in 2194 and Neptune in 2213.

Infrastructure
Transit between the GGC members is subsidized to encourage a sense of shared community. Shuttles leave frequently between all members, but travel times can be on the order of months, even with lavish Brachistochrone transfers.
