Ganymede

Capitol of the Outer Solar System, Ganymede has a large surface habitat, mostly in slightly spinning cones. Ganymede has all the services, resources, and people nescessary for a full civilization, and so is often visited by people from the Outer Solar System or the Asteroid belt for medical help, legal trouble, or just to be in a true, thriving civilization.

Geography

While mostly barren and lifeless on the surface, underneath large reinforced plastisteel superconductor woven domes lie spinning habitats, providing the minimal 0.3 g required for unaugmented humans. These large domes, some of them km scale, house the millions of people that call Ganymede home. Ganymede has an immense subsurface ice sheet, and enough volatiles, organics and metals to sustain an incredibly lossy civilization for centuries.

Fauna & Flora

While no creatures natively live on Ganymede, humans have brought hundreds of species to live in symbiosis with. While some are simply pets, others are more for display and conservation, like the giant, spinning aquarium in Haraktes, with all manner of sea life.

Natural Resources

Ganymede itself has little that other places have more of, but its central location, jack of all trades nature mean it is perfect for a population capitol.
