This was when the gods came over the abandoned world and started to ponder what they should do with it.
This was when the gods came over the abandoned world and started to ponder what they should do with it.
In the year 8000000 Solis the goddess of light created two suns to orbit around the new world to create day, she named them Hera and Lisha. Seeing this new world start to grow cuz of her sisters creation, Luna the goddess of darkness created her own sun to orbit the new world creating night, she called her creation for moon.
One of the first races to be made by the gods and now counting as the oldest is the dragons. They lived all over Pearhsa for years and had no real predetors until the elves and eranorians came along some years later.
In this year the Elves, the Dwarves and the Eranorians were created by their respectful gods and goddesses. This lead to a big power shift as the Dragons were not the only race on Pearsha any longer and they would have to learn to live with these new inhabitants.
Growing in the shadow of Solis, Luna finally broke and joined Téridax ending in a battle between Luna and Solis. The battle created a wast variety of colour which could be seen in the sky as the two clashed. As the battle went to a finish Luna would end up defeated. Because of her loneliness of her corruption by Téridax, her sun would start to die. To this day the sun no longer generates warmth and burns a silver almost blue fire.
The mysterious city of Deos-oëar has long been speculated to have not existed at all as there is very little knowledge or sources about the place. The city was said to be the most beautiful place on Pearsha and that all races lived among each other, yes even dragons. Deos-oëar is said to have been located on an island in the Edras Sea and was more advanced than any other civilization on Pearsha at the time. Its even said that they had their own language. Here is a little note from Scrandia the great philosopher: “The first time I stepped onto Deos-oëar it was almost like a being in heaven or in a dream. The place was beautiful with its great architecture and waterfalls and just all creatures being happy among each other. It was no wonder this city was as rich as it was.” Sadly the island disappeared somewhere around the year of 3 006 000. How or why is still unknown to this day, Scrandia describes in her writing that Deos-oëar made the gods angry and therefore the gods sent a giant wave of water that sunk their city and island to the bottom of the ocean. If this is true no one knows, even the oldest of creatures deny that the city even existed and that it was merely a fiction that Scrandia wrote to get rich.
The Last Breath of the Gods is an event were the gods inprisoned Téridax's generals in the Nether Plane and agreed on to let the mortals control the world of Pearsha. Before they all left to the heavens, some gods gifted the mortals with holy temples so that they could still communicate with each other.
The First Age of Iquria mostly took place on the continent Varisar. A continent of which all races were somewhat friendly to each other. Though there were conflicts around this time, no war would fall upon anyone until Predacor, the God of Monsters were able to create the orcs, goblins, ogres and other creatures from his imprisonment. The addition of these new races and monsters would help lead to the end of The First Age.
In the year 200, the elven city of Dandorion was built on the continent Varisar and was a safe spot for every race in it's existens.
In 220 multiple cities started getting build by the elves, the eranorians and the dwarves and this lasted mostly to the year 300, but they also builded more cities after that year as well on the continent.
The dwarves not being too keen on living with the other races decided to steal some of the elven ships and sail east looking for a new land. The journey was lead by the dwarf Tharin who would come to be the founder of all dwarven families (on Araska). The dwarves settled at the first land they found and Tharin named the continent they came to Araska.
In the year 680 a terrible war happend called the "Fall of Dandorion", this is because it lasted til the year 800 and was mostly centert around the city Dandorion and ended in it getting destroyed. The creatures that made it away from Varisar, mostly went to Araska, but the Eranorians found an island of their own. The destruction of Dandorion would come to count as the end of the First Age for many.
The Second Age of Iquria is also known as The Golden Age as most populations flourished during this age. During this age a lot of things happened, such as the Eranorians settling down on their own island, the dwarves creating multiple cities in the different mountains, the elves having to leave their old home and settling down on Araska. These are just some of the things, but this age is the one that had the most action of them all so far.
When Dandiron fell most Eranors (humans) went to Araska along with the other races, but some eranors found an island in the middle of the ocean which they would end up calling Lúrtieer. The island is said to have been almost as magical as an elven city of The First Age.
The elves had to seek a new place to call home and so multiple elven ships went their different ways with most of them going to the continent discovered by the dwarves known as Araska. Here they would restart their race and would spring into different kinds such as wood elves, dark elves, stone elves, high elves and the least popular one moon elves.
Though the dwarves would be busy welcoming their new neighbors to their continent, they stil put in time to further build their own homes. These years would be used to rise the most famous kingdoms that can stil be seen on the continent to this day.
The Viridis Nubis as the elves called it was a terrible plague that hit Araska in the early years of the Second Age. The plague came from the sea, floating on top as a green cloud of death, it warped itself around every living creature that got in it's way. When infected, a creature would first start to trow up, before starting to decay until they only were a lifeless host left all green. To get rid of this deathly virus, the higher ups of the continent agreed to use dark magic to send it over seas once more. Unfortunately they would only end up sending some of it away, with some of the plague still left on the continent to this very day.
In the year 2000 a wizard found a secret cave that lead underground on Araska, in this cave he found the dark elves. A race who was created by Téridax and went underground after the dark ages. It was in this year that they where welcomed back to the surface.
From another plane came Luna, Goddess of Darkness wanting to destroy all creatures of the light. She laid her eyes on Iquria and started with the eranorians on Lúrtieer. Fighting for months to protect their island the eranorians sadly left their home with the few of them that were left and went to Araska to rejoin with their now descendants known as humans.
After taking the island of Lúrtieer, Luna followed after the Eranorians to Araska only to find them joined togehter with the humans. Multiple battles occured around the West until she was finaly stopped on Rainbow's Hill and was banished once again to the Nether Planes. It is rumored though that she fulfilled her plan whatever it was, for after her defeat strange things started to happen on Araska.
The Third Age of this world, the present age of Iquria. This age has not yet been completely carted, but great philosophers has seen scary symbols on the skys and fear that something is going to happen. The present year is 7004 and this age does not seem to be heading to an end anytime soon.
In the year 6500 The Northern Council decided that a prison was needed to keep their growing enemies behind bars. They built a magical underwater prison in the middle of the Moon Lake, a prison that would be unescapable. Lead by designer Ratchet Bulkstone, the building lastet for 50 years and finished in 6990. It was given the name The Citadel by the inmates. Even though many don't know of it's existence the place is still feared by evil doers.
In the year 6795 a large group of goblin and orcs were able to sneek into the mountains of Minas Caldaran and chased the dwarves that lived there out. These dwarves were the Stoneheelms, and they did not take it well. So the dwarven leader of the Stoneheelms, Mariana the Third swore to retake the mountains and their old home from the goblins, launching a counter strike which would start a war that still goes on to this day.
On this day everything changed, we went from being solo vigilantes to a team of sorts. We still have a lot that needs to be worked through before we can become a legendary team, but we are on our way. As for what made us come together, it was a white dragon, named Flyndal. He wanted to freeze all of Araska and send it into a never ending ice age. Luckly I meet a group of chaotic people and we put our differences aside so that we could beat the bad guy. And we did.- Jamie Hick
The first gun on Iquria was created in the year 6850 by Doctor Arnim Feldar, a brilliant but ambitious scientist. His discovery of black powder's explosive properties sparked his obsession with harnessing its destructive power. Arnim's early work led to the creation of the cannon, but he soon envisioned a more portable weapon—one that could be carried by a single person. After years of experimentation, he succeeded in crafting the first handheld firearm. Though his designs were stolen and used by dangerous individuals, his invention revolutionized warfare, marking the dawn of a new era in Iquria.
In the year 6954 the two brothers Cain & Abel Evan discoverd the lost island of Tortura and ended up stuck there for 5 months.
