The legendary bard of Raj'tar, Phelia Dropcone, was a female tiefling known as the finest musician east of the Misty Mountains. Born into wealth, she was named Carphelia Heather Lockcone and raised alongside two siblings in a lavish estate. Though her parents loved her in their own way, they kept their tiefling child hidden from the public eye. To occupy her time, they provided the finest tutors in music, poetry, and storytelling, unknowingly fostering the talents that would make her famous.Tragedy struck when her older brother died under mysterious circumstances. The grief and stifling silence that followed became unbearable, and at fourteen, Phelia fled, leaving behind her noble name and past. Years later Phelia found herself in the city of Vapolis, where she learned to survive through music, wit, and occasional trickery. It was in the chaos of a bar fight that she met Jamie Hicks, a fierce fighter that respectet and protected her. She quickly came to admire him, seeing him as the older brother she had lost.
Together, she and Jamie became part of something greater—the Protectors of Araska. Alongside their companions, they fought dragons, toppled liches, and even subdued Soundwave, ensuring his imprisonment in the Citadel. With every adventure, Phelia’s legend grew, her songs spreading tales of their heroics across the realm.
But even the greatest of stories must end. On the Everfree Mountains, a rift formed between Jamie and Sirius, leading to their fateful split. Phelia, torn between loyalty and reason, followed the rest of the group, leaving Jamie behind. That day marked the last time anyone saw the Protectors together.
What became of Phelia Dropcone remains a mystery. Some say she vanished, her songs now mere whispers on the wind. Others believe she still roams the world, spinning new tales in distant taverns. Yet no matter where she may be, the legend of the bard of Raj’tar endures, carried in melodies that echo across Araska.
