Overview
Trixie, a goblin born in the slums of Handrar, rose from obscurity to become one of the realm’s most legendary rogues. Though her tribe cast her out, the world would come to know her as a master thief capable of stealing anything. Tales still circulate of her greatest heist—stealing the fabled King’s Ruby from the frozen lair of a terrifying Groke, a feat often retold by Jamie Hicks himself.
Despite her criminal origins, Trixie’s name became synonymous with heroism after she joined the Protectors of Araska and helped slay the white dragon Flyndal. But like the rest of the Protectors, she vanished without a trace after the group’s mysterious disbandment, leaving only rumors and legends in her wake.
History
Little is known of Trixie’s early years, only that she came from a struggling goblin tribe and was exiled for lacking confidence and courage. Alone and wandering the wilds of Araska, she relied on her cunning and sleight of hand to survive. Her life took a turn when she stumbled upon Jamie Hicks and Phelia Dropcone mid-battle with a notorious bandit leader. After offering her help in exchange for a share of the loot, she joined the fray—and walked away with most of the gold. It was the beginning of a long and fateful partnership.Though celebrated for her incredible skill, Trixie struggled with self-worth and increasingly relied on alcohol to numb her doubts. Her sharp wit and reckless humor masked a deep insecurity that never quite left her, even as she fought alongside the realm’s greatest heroes. After the Protectors disbanded, Trixie disappeared like the rest, her whereabouts unknown. Yet in Jamie Hicks’ tavern, The Fiery Dragon, her legend lives on in half-true stories, exaggerated feats, and the bittersweet memory of a hero who never believed she was one.
