Solis, Goddess of Light

Overview

Solis, the most powerful goddess of Iquira, radiates warmth and brilliance across the realm, embodying kindness and confidence as she illuminates its many lands. With an unwavering belief in the goodness of all beings, she advocates for second chances. However, beneath her joyful exterior lies a deep sorrow for her younger sister, Luna, the Goddess of Darkness, who was lost to the Nether Plane after their tragic conflict at the end of the Dark Age.

Description

Solis's physical manifistation is that of a young beautiful woman dressed in a long white gown. She has long rainbow hair with a golden crown on top of her head and from her back, two pure white feathered wings stretch out. It's said that she has a blade of pure radiant energy forged by Alpha Trixsa, the Goddess of Crafting called the Sunblade which she used in the dark age and against her sister.

History

In the dawn of creation, Solis emerged as the most powerful goddess of Iquira, her radiant light casting warmth and brilliance over the newly formed realms. Born from the union of celestial forces, she embodied kindness and strength, determined to nurture the world and its inhabitants. Solis quickly became a guiding light, fostering peace and harmony among the other deities and the mortals who revered her.

Her luminous presence was complemented by her unwavering belief in the goodness of all beings. Unlike Eradoras, the God of Order, who imposed strict justice, Solis embraced compassion and the power of second chances. She tirelessly sought to uplift those who faltered, encouraging growth and redemption in a world often shadowed by darkness.

However, Solis’s devotion to her sister Luna, would ultimately lead to heartache. Once inseparable, the sisters began to drift apart as their differing ideals clashed, culminating in a tragic conflict that shattered their bond. The ensuing battle marked the end of The Dark Age and resulted in Luna’s defeat. Consumed by bitterness, Luna was cast into the Nether Plane, leaving Solis to mourn the loss of her beloved sister. This pain became a constant weight upon her heart, a reminder of the delicate balance between light and dark.

As the ages passed, Solis continued to shine brightly, leading the other gods and guiding mortals through turbulent times. Her two suns, Hera and Lisha, served as symbols of hope, illuminating the skies and reminding all of her enduring spirit. Armed with the Blade of Light, a radiant sword forged by Alpha Trixsa, Solis defended the realm against the forces of evil that threatened to disrupt the peace she worked so hard to maintain.

At the end of the Second Age, Luna was summoned back to the mortal realm by her followers, only to be defeated once more by Solis and her allies. This victory brought Solis no joy, for she understood that every battle with her sister was a reminder of their lost connection. Despite her sorrow, Solis remains a beacon of hope and resilience, inspiring mortals and gods alike with her unwavering light and the belief that goodness can prevail, even in the darkest of times. Her legacy endures, a testament to the enduring power of love, forgiveness, and the light that guides the world of Iquira.
