Traditions are very seriously followed within Agrovia and its provinces, from the quarterly festivals of The Fasting of The Saints and the homely Solitude – to the small habits of wishing the moon a good rest. From donning statues of Shidare with flowers for granted wishes to lining one Wine barrel with copper for better taste, superstitions are as fundamental as the foundation of one's own house. Though some are a niche that only exists within specific regions and backdrops of Agrovia's wilderness, most have since found themselves in the telling of children's bedtime tales and campfire stories. Perhaps the most widely accepted belief is the sacrality of Death – which is seen in the many pristine graveyards throughout the land and the absence of undead and graverobbers. This is not only due to the high standing of the Ester clan, which holds the Sheperd that guides the dearly departed to the next world and the deep reverence for the hard work that the Grave-tenders put into their roles. The Holiday of Solitude is spent to thank them for their service.
