AFK: The Agrovian Foundation of Knowledge
The Agrovian Foundation of Knowledge, or [AFK] for short. Formerly under the alias of [KNOW], it is a collection of Scholars of Agrovia. Renowned for their archives of lost information and arts, second to the Agrovian Imperial Library. As [KNOW] houses most if not all the knowledge in Agrovia, it works closely with [ERA] among the other factions. [AFK] was founded by the former [Saint] and now current [Empress], Alina Isabella Archibald - A woman who spent most of her life in the former Imperial Library, and despite her blindness, knew of the contents of every book they had. Since the former library burned down, Alina had stepped away from it though it has since reformed the library in Sasan, and now in Marigold.
As it was formerly referred to as [KNOW], [AFK] is the successor of the former Imperial Library and Archives, now located in Sasan and had undergone a massive chance after the war, where its former leader, Alina would relocate the archives to the southern state, before resigning her position. Despite the widespread loss of historical documents and many precious artefacts and other things, much of its history was preserved, and salvaged from the ruins of the old Library before it was relocated to Sasan, where it is now housed in Agrovia’s largest library and museum.
Those who run [AFK] are known as "The Archivists". Not much else is known about the organizations creed or ethos, but their devotion to finding and preserving history has been held true since its inception some four thousand years ago. For a long time, [AFK] had no [Head Archavist], given that Lady Alina had resigned her position and later stepped up to the throne of Candria. Until recently, it was co-run by [MAGI], [AGE] and [ERA], before the Newly Knighted [Saint], [Thirteenth Generation, Sixth Saint] – Lene Lyre. Lene was a former protégé of Alina, and an avid nerd at the arcane and esoteric, making her a fitting successor for the esteemed Archives. Of course, her role is still assisted by [ERA] and the other factions, working closely with the academy and its sister divisions in a variety of ways.
The New [AFK] Library is located in Serlo District in Sasan, which has the entire region dedicated to the Scholary arts. As for the former Library, its ruins still remain, though have been cordoned off and are under strict high security guard by [URN] and other military divisions – Perhaps hiding some dark secrets kept by the former Church, and central cult of [GOETIA], [EON].
There is also a Northern [AFK] Branch in Marigold, that is working closely with [URN] to reconstruct and record the lost parts of the worlds history, both Illyah and Lestar Earth.
