Fort Maela
The capital fortress city of Maela. A military-based town that is solely focused on the Naval activity of Agrovia. Not much is known other than its massive military presence and that it is almost as old as Baria, being the second oldest human stronghold dating back nearly 8,000 years. It is run by ACE alongside ARK, under the SIREN guise. As it is the main base of operations for ACE, which like the rest of the factions, has other branches in all of the other provinces, it has the main focus of the policing of Agroiva, among other things. It often uses The Isles of Silence for training purposes.
As its one and only central fortress city, it is an iron fortress, and is the very first fully-iron manmade structure. The above-ground parts of the city are only the tip of the iceberg, given that the actual size of Fort Maela far dwarfs what is seen above. The massive, yet gorgeous cityscape is unique, being built within a network of crystal caverns that rival Piore’s own in terms of beauty. These caverns are seen all around Agrovia; but are mostly inaccessible. One of the reasons Maela is so sturdy is that the caverns which it was built within are comprised of a Crystaline metal known as Senron – And is by far the largest deposit of the substance in Agrovia, even dwarfing the various ones within the Great Forest.
