The Great Divide

A massive expanse of barren, inhospitable land. Often used as a test site for URN’s new weapons among other things, it is a place that very few species find home in. In fact, even the Snape and the famously sturdy Yaelor seem to seldom venture into its lands. Locals say that it is due to a great deal of death that had scarred the land and still plagues it to this day. Perhaps this is true, but there is no record of such things occurring, at least in recorded history.   But one thing that is well known, is the harsh weather phenomena that occurs in the regions, scarring the lands and killing all in its path, is one thing that is true indeed. Of course, people say the reaper wanders wherever the path of destruction leads, though not the reaper as we all know it – As Agrovia is known to hold a different view and mythos on the aspect of death, the typical skull and bones isn’t a commonly seen theme for them. There is also another strange occurrence, which results in the gruesome and untimely deaths of all who pass its terrain, suffering from unknown plagues that rot their bodies.   But legends have it, that this is the remnants of a disgraced aspect of death from long ago, one that has taken a ghastly form and leads darkness and death wherever it trod. It is an omen, and one that is bought forth by the sudden onset of night, no matter the time of day.   In the most recent years, it has been discovered that the region is rich in radioisotopes, with a large deposit of malformed Torah crystals akin to Uranium and other radioactive substances. Because of this, the mere notion of travelling the terrain will result in death. URN has since subsequently cordoned off the entire region under strict lockdown and is using it for its testing sites,   It has since been adamantly named the “Reapers Pass”, or the “Nosol Exclusion Zone” - Named after the Gods of Plague and Death.
