Lore

Originating in The Nation of Xylotile , the Tinkerer is an innovator and often combines the raw, untapped, power of magic with their machines to unlock even more potential!

They are the ones responsible for kick-starting the industrial revolution in Xylotile and for coming up with all of the machines that are found within. From the trains, to the automatic looms, to the assembly lines.

Their machines and ideas are often considered by mages as a means of magic all its own. "A hunk of steel that consumes items, gives off heat, and moves on its own?? That's not an 'Automaton', that's just a steel golem!" -Local Etherial who just saw a machine of this nature for the first time.

Armed with a flintlock pistol, they're handy wrench, and endless ideas, the Tinkerer can often be found scrapping old items and fashioning bits and pieces of them to create new and exciting inventions! Truly the world is their oyster.
