Failsafe

This Augment is different than the rest, hence why it is listed differently.

The Fail Safe is an Augment you may attach to any weapon or item that activates; if the weapon or item were to react negatively (crit-fail) then the Fail Safe activates. The spell, attack, etc... fails to activate leaving the user with no negative consequence, but destroying the Fail Safe and still consuming the Spell Castings used (if there were any) in the process.


Note: Essentially a 1-time use anti-crit-fail. You may only have 1 spare Fail Safe on your character at any time.

All weapons/items can only hold 1 Fail Safe on them at a time.

This gadget costs 3 Spell Castings as well as 30 Material.

You can have this Augment on any weapon that already has another Augment on it via either Elemental Weaponry or Corrupt Elemental Weaponry.

Cost: 30 Materials & 3 Spell Castings

Speed: Action

Defensive: Prevents a critical failure on a spell, ability, or attack.
