Temporal Cannon

The Temporal Cannon. The ultimate "handheld" firearm. The Temporal Cannon is the perfect mixture of technology and magic! Once crafted this cannon is held between time and space until you need it and can be accessed via a small wristband you wear.

When you access it, movement becomes impossible until the cannon is charged and fired. Each turn you spend charging it, you gain +1 stack of "Unstable Discharge". The Temporal Cannon requires a minimum of five (5) stacks of "Unstable Discharge" before it can be fired. Once fired roll (2*X)d20's where "X" is the # of stacks of "Unstable Discharge".

Thanks to its charge up time warping the energy around you, the shot can't miss!

Everything in its line of fire will be hit by its blast, so teammates beware!


Note: This weapon can not crit in the normal sense; for each '20' rolled, you add another +20 to the total rolled (if you roll 1x20 and 1x6, the result is 46, meaning the maximum damage @ 5 stacks of "Unstable Discharge" is 400).

It's range is Anywhere you know the location of (on-map), line-of-sight doesn't matter here as the cannon will ignore terrain and shoot through walls.

Like other magically-powered gadgets of yours, the Spell Castings are consumed upon deployment, not crafting.

Once fired, however, the cannon will return from whence it came and you will need to spend the Spell Castings again in order to bring the cannon back out of the space-between-space-and-time.
