The Hainish Heartlands

The Bellinbrosh, as it is called, is the central core of the Kingdom of Hain - the fertile and defensible space between the Halmenter mountains and the Saress River, protected from both monsters and invasions. This is where the majority of Hain's population lives, and where the majority of Hain's wealth is produced.
This may be a relatively un-mutated and safe region now, but it has not always been so. The Bellingbrosh is kept safe from monsters invading, and even new species destabilizing the local ecosystem, by a robust shell of militarized marches that project Hainish power and insulate the heartlands from the rest of Stildane.

Geography

The Hainish heartlands are divided into six main provinces:

• Gotvorken, controlled by House Geinmen. Known for its bountiful resources and frequent castles.
• Hueshtet, controlled by House Geinmen. Known for its rich farmland and massive city of Vruhafen 
• Savarn, controlled by House Savadan. Known for its estates, mounts, and vineyards. 
• Baltarn, controlled by House Devhauzen. Known for its thick forests, many small lakes, and wizards
• Dezurend, controlled by House Dezuren. Known for its hills and mountains, as well as the city of Ozaren.
• Yuyon, controlled by House Savadan. Known for its textiles, mountain valleys, and gold mines
