The Confederated Clans of Gittimoore
A nation under born from civil war, Gittimoore formed from the remnants of the Grey dwarfs clans. Now loyal members of the Empire, they act with great pride for their adopted Emperor, yet still seek to settle and The Oldest Grudge.
Structure
Deathgrip, Onyxcloak and Bonesplitter are the three major rival clans of Gitimoore and they have been known to fight over the smallest of matters such as who has the strongest slaves. The major clans opperate similiarly to that of Mirathis, with ket differences. Many of the clans in Gittimoore will often swear loyalty to a stronger clan, leading to a web of alliances, secret deals, and treaties.
Culture
Despite a well earned reputation for backstabbing, the denizens of Gitimoore are known to be very loyal to their allies in times of war. They have families that form pacts with one another regularly. When internal fights break out they choose their sides very quickly, and stick to them to the bitter end.
Ceremonies are often held to honor the men of their fighting forces. The strongest and nastiest soldiers have their pick of people to marry, as fathers often offer their children's hand in marriage to those who kill the most, and in most brutal of ways. This is usually done at the during the bloodshedders ball. After a battle, or any kind of skirmish, it is common that the victor claim the survivors as slaves for themselves or their clan.
History
The history of Gitimoore is riddled with minor clan wars but for the moment everyone seems to be at peace. Long ago Gittimoore and Mirathis were one nation. Yet due to some ancient conflict, the Duergar broke from their cousins and swore allegiance to the Emperor. They now defend one of the only land entrances to Plutoria. The hostilities against their former kin have not faded from memory however, and many wars have been waged between the two on a smaller scale.
Demography and Population
While the majority of the population of Gittimoore are dwarves, specifaclly dueregar or grey dwarves, there is a sizable population of gnomes and monsterous races living within the caverns of the realm. There are also a sizable population of slaves from the other nations that despite their slave "status" have rights assured to them by decree of the Plutorian Emperor.
Territories
Gittimoore covers a large area of the claimed portion of the underdark. They also protect one of the only traversable passages into Eastern Plutoria that is accesable by marching, this important pointed is guarded by the most fortified city in the underdar and the capital of the Confederated Clans of Gittimoore, Aeon's Pass.
Military
While the main fighting force of the Duergar are no laughing matter it is their tactics that make them deadly and dangerous. Often luring forces into ambushes and collapsing whole tunnels and caverns to destroy their enemy. Assassins and saboteurs are often well trained and well used. They are more than happy to use any dirty trick to achieve ultimate victory.
They are known for their strong fortications and defensive tactics. Thier cities and their famed rail systems are heavily defended and means they can reinforce eacher with both supplies and mens quickly.
Technological Level
Gittimoore is often considered more advanced than many of the nations of Gromlin, certainly among the forces of the Empire. Using arcane and steam power they have produced feats of technology such as the rail lines, steam armor, drills, and more that they have used for the betterment of the Confederated clans and the empire on the whole.
Religion
Although it may not appear that the Duergar are a religious people, this could not be further from the truth. They consider it a private and personal matter. It is actually against the law for non-duergar to enter the shrines. The most popular deities being Rubicon god of war, Pugphy goddess of torture; Pugphy goddess of vengeance, Cyphus god of trade, luck, and wealth; and Unzir the god of the forge; and Praemark god of magic and science.
Foreign Relations
The Confederated Clans have strong ties to the Emporer and the Empire on the whole, as such they are staunch defenders of any Imperial cause. However they have a long standing animosity with their cousin in the United Clans of Mirathis, currently they are not in open hostilities but there are smaller altercations between the two nations.
Laws
Laws of Gitimoore are set down and enforced by Plutoria and their marshals. Although a lot of leeway is given to the Duergar as they have proven themselves loyal to the Empire. Many new laws and policies are first given to the Proconsul for review, yet rarely is it ever declined as it may cause a diplomatic incident. Being very mistrustful of surface dwellers there are many laws regarding them and any visitors would be wise to collect a pamphlet from the courthouse in every town they enter or they may find themself arrested. Outsiders who break the rules are sold into slavery. Most slaves are prisoners that have broken the law or been captured in war. However slaves do have some of their basic rights and are able to buy or earn their freedom. One law the the Empire insists upon that has caused a lot of tension with Gittimoore involves their slave trade; the other parts of the empire does not recognize enslavement as a status. This means should a Gitimoori slave escape and make it to surface, they are considered free and no longer bound by the Gittimoori slave trade.
Agriculture & Industry
The Confederated Clans take a large amount of pride in their infrastructure, cities, and rail system. The Railway lines connect each city and outpost for all of Gittimoore, aiding in transport of civilians, goods, and military personel. These armored trains have become a part of the Gittimoori idnenty and are heavily protected by outposts, and guards.
Trade & Transport
Using their famed railway lines, trade and transport is extremly effcient compared to the other nations. However this has made the rails prime targets for raids and burglary, as a reaction, the Confederated Clans have armed and amored the trollys and trains to the brim.
Education
Schools in Gittimoore are well maintiend but known for a strong competitive streak among both the students and faculty. They strive for being the best and this has lead to a cutthroat mentality. This has lead to many jumps in technology but also lead many projects to falter as the head engineer has fallen out of favor.
Infrastructure
Despire the confined and broken landscape of the underdark, Gittimoore has a strong infrastructure system. Using their rail system, drills, sewer systems, has made the few cities that scatter the underdark, extremly connected and able to support one another.
Tenets of Faith
Faith in Gittimoore is a deeply personal matter to the grey dwarves. Many homes have small private shrines to worship whichever deity the honor. There are few festivals and ceremonies within the borders in regards to deities for this same reason. Many temples also have private chambers for confessions and prayers.

Major Exports
