The heir to the Waterguard estate and its future duchess, Lady Dairine is engaged to Prince Felix Whitewave Alderley. She is considered one of the most influential young people living today and will be styled "Princess" after her marriage to Prince Felix.

Lady Dairine Rosmors Waterguard was born into the Waterguard Clan to Cassius Blackburn Rosmors and Avila Stelworth Waterguard. She tested at 148.13 on her tenth birthday and has been sought-after as a wife ever since then--even more so when she was declared the heir of the Waterguard estate at age 14 after her brother Cassius and her first cousin Isla, the younger members of the Waterguard clan, scored lower than her. Prince Felix caught her eye (and likely the eyes of her grandparents, Headmistress Blackburn and General Rosmors) when she was fifteen. Some of her rivals were intimidated enough by her power carrier concentration or by her disposition, but most did not back off their advances on the prince. Dairine stirred up the nobility when she challenged her chief rival, Kathleen Windweaver Daymarch, to a traditional duel for his hand. Duels, while they used to be crucial for a Paragon to decide his or her spouse, are now rarely used in the era of blood tests. But Kathleen honored Dairine's request, and the two fought. Dairine prevailed. Now, it cannot be said that Dairine's duel won Prince Felix's hand, for the greater battle was of the parents and the grandparents of every possible wife, who fought with blackmail and threats among one another and with flattery and reasoning among the king and queen. Ultimately, the Rosmors Waterguards emerged victorious, and Dairine and Prince Felix were engaged. They are to be married on Ogmal 26th of this year, 1314, and are currently taking the traditional tour around the country to the manors of their fellow nobility.Education
Lady Dairine attended Everdon Academy, concentrating in governance and law. While generally good at applications involving memorization and spatial awareness, she isn't necessarily the best strategist--the one thing she's not considered good at. Her usual way of worship through creation is by creating sculptures that move water in interesting ways, a Waterguard tradition.Social
Contacts and Relations
Lady Dairine's contacts within the Crathlian nobility are numerous. She comes from two highly respectable Paragon families. During school, she was more feared than liked, but still had numerous friends who wouldn't dare cross her. Some, such as the Windweavers, the Daymarches, and the Greengales, chose not to put up with her, having their own power and allies. Some of these now regret this decision with Dairine engaged to Prince Felix.Family Ties
Lady Dairine's position in the Waterguard clan makes her equally beloved and looked on with jealousy. Some of her aunts, uncles, and cousins feel that they or their children are more worthy, but there's no arguing with the Creator's will through her power carrier concentration. The Rosmorses, led by her grandfather Cassius Rosmors Blackburn, tend to be very proud of her and consider her the brightest young member of their family line. She is very close to both sets of grandparents, as well as her parents. She and her younger brother (who is usually called Trey by those who know him and his family, being the third Cassius in his family) do not get along. The gossip is that they share too many traits, except that Dairine is generally better at whatever she does, and Trey is jealous. Whether this is true or not is up to interpretation.Relationships
