Headmistress Blackburn is a woman of significant importance to all those who have attended Everdon in the past decade. I know that she has played a role in the molding of me into the crown princess that Crathlia will need by ensuring that all my classes are rigorous and practical, preparing me for the unique difficulties that come with ruling a country. She has long served as a mentor, and I know that I would have struggled far more without her guidance.

Family
Lady Viviana Blackburn was born into the Blackburn Clan to Kevan Blackburn Weatherby and Annabel Weatherby Blackburn. Though her power carrier concentration was quite high, she was outscored by her sister Una. During schooling, she met Cassius Imbrus Rosmors, whom she married at age 20. She had three children: Cassius Blackburn Rosmors, Olivia Blackburn Rosmors, and Portia Blackburn Rosmors. She now has five grandchildren. By her son Cassius: Dairine Rosmors Waterguard (future princess and heir to the Waterguard estate) and Cassius Rosmors Waterguard. After a relatively uneventful law career, she retired to teach at Everdon Academy aged 33. She taught law and debate. In 1305 (aged 55) she was promoted to headmistress and remains in that position to this day.Social
Wealth and Household
Considering that her husband is a general and she herself is the headmistress of the most prestigious school in the country, I think it can be safely assumed that she is rather wealthy, but not compared to some of our nobility. Elegantly decorated, Rosmors Hall is a mansion of somewhat larger than average size for High Valley, and it is often the location of balls and celebrations due to its lovely ballroom. The entryway features a complicated fountain, with waterfalls flowing backwards into nowhere and rainbows visible throughout the day, that rivals the Waterguard manor in lavishness.Connections and Relations
Well-connected in Paragon society, Lady Blackburn may refer her favored students to Senators, lawyers, and religious leaders so that they can learn more of the profession they desire. As the headmistress of Everdon Academy, she is among the most powerful people in Crathlia, considering that she helps shape the futures of all the Paragons who will one day rule the country. Her students often remember well the help she gave them.Family Ties
Like most respectable members of Paragon society, she has distanced herself from the Weatherby name after her her illegitimate brother married a Drainer. Most of her Blackburn relatives died during the Great War, and she is not close to the remaining branch of the family. Thus she places most of her family loyalty in her husband's family, the Rosmors Clan, who have long been a powerful non-governing clan.Relationships
