Vul'Adnian Magistrate - Defunct (Vool-Add-Nee-Ann Magistrate)

Formed by Aefic Oakhand in 4E, 296 Dissolved a few years after the beginning of 5E, they simply refused to surrender and lost many lives.
before the dissolve of mainland countries after the Fracturing War, the Oakhand family conquered the mountains as the empiric force known as the Vul'Adnian Magistrate. This was a powerful wizard army who spoke of their magic blood and conquered assuming they were meant to rule the world.
The Vul'Adnian Magistrate emerged as a powerful empire following the transformation of Vuulydon under the reign of Mageking Aefic Oakhand. The Magistrate was characterized by its zealous belief in the supremacy of the magical bloodline and the Oakhand family's right to rule over the commoners.
Under Aefic's leadership, the Vul'Adnian Magistrate sought to expand its borders and bring other nations under its dominion, driven by a conviction that they alone possessed the inherent magical power necessary to govern. The Magistrate employed a combination of military might, political manipulation, and ideological indoctrination to achieve its ambitions.
Fogholt, the majestic tiered capital city, stood as the heart of the Vul'Adnian Magistrate. Built into the mountainside, it served as a testament to the Oakhand's magical heritage and their vision of supremacy. Towering spires and grand structures infused with arcane symbols adorned the cityscape, while the streets bustled with the activities of magicians, scholars, and enforcers of the Magistrate's rule.
Within the Magistrate, the Oakhand bloodline held a privileged status, with Aefic Oakhand and his descendants reigning as the Jaggedkings. Their rule was supported by an elite cadre of magicians and powerful military forces, ensuring the Magistrate's control over the conquered territories.
However, the rise of the Vul'Adnian Magistrate was not without opposition. Dissenters and resistance movements emerged, challenging the Magistrate's oppressive rule and its belief in magical superiority. These rebels, often inspired by the values of freedom and equality, fought against the Magistrate's tyranny, seeking to liberate the commoners from their subjugation.
As the Vul'Adnian Magistrate solidified its power within the Firefang Jags, it sought to extend its influence beyond its borders. In the waning years of the Fourth Era, a grand conflict erupted that would shape the fate of the continent and test the might of the Magistrate.
Aligning themselves with the kingdom of Ivoria, the Vul'Adnian Magistrate joined forces to wage war against Palandis and Mercadia. United by a shared belief in their magical superiority, the world powers forged a formidable alliance against their adversaries. This would be called the Fracturing War.
The war was marked by intense battles and widespread devastation as armies clashed and magical forces unleashed their power upon the battlefield. The Vul'Adnian Magistrate's army, led by the fervent Jaggedking Aefic Oakhand, showcased their mastery of magic in their relentless pursuit of victory.
Palandis and Mercadia, however, were not easily defeated. They rallied their forces, drawing upon their own magical resources and the strength of their alliances. The conflict engulfed the continent, with countless lives lost and cities ravaged by the destructive forces of war.
Throughout the conflict, the Vul'Adnian Magistrate fought with unwavering determination, driven by their belief in their divine right to rule. The Jaggedking and his loyal generals, including the cunning advisor-general Vossin Rostov, devised strategic maneuvers and unleashed powerful spells to break the resolve of their enemies.
But as the tides of war shifted, the Vul'Adnian Magistrate faced growing resistance from the combined forces of Palandis, Mercadia, and their newfound elven allies. The magic-wielding soldiers of Mercadia, alongside the fierce warriors of Palandis, fought valiantly to repel the Magistrate's advance.
In the climactic battle that determined the outcome of the war, the forces of Palandis and Mercadia, bolstered by the elven reinforcements, mounted a relentless assault against the Magistrate's stronghold. The skies ignited with magical clashes, and the land trembled beneath the clash of armies.
Ultimately, the combined might of Palandis, Mercadia, and the elven allies proved overwhelming. The Vul'Adnian Magistrate suffered a crushing defeat, their dreams of dominance shattered. Aefic Oakhand, the Jaggedking, met his end on the battlefield, and the Magistrate's grip on power crumbled.
With the defeat of the Vul'Adnian Magistrate, a new era dawned. Highqueen Ella Skytracer of Mercadia emerged as a unifying force, seeking to forge a united continent under her banner. The Joint Armistice Lands were established, erasing the borders that had divided nations for centuries and ushering in an era of cooperation and renewed hope.
The Vuul kept fighting under the generals of their faction being determined they could win. Slowly the Vuul were beat back to their lone mountain of the Spyre where they finally surrendered and became part of the Joint Armistice Lands. The Oakhand line continued but did not partake in statesmanship. The mountain kingdom was stricken by the beginnings of the Fogholt Plague years after which further slowed their return to power.
The Vul'Adnian Magistrate's legacy became one of cautionary tales and lessons learned. It served as a reminder of the dangers of unchecked power and the hubris that comes with the belief in magical superiority. The continent, scarred by the war, began to rebuild and strive for a more harmonious future, one where the mistakes of the past would not be repeated.
During the 4th Era in Galfin, the Vuul people, who were skilled magic users and spellswords, formed the Vul'Adnian Magistrate empire from their home country of Vuulydon. They believed that their magical abilities made them superior to other nations and were destined to rule over them. This belief led to the Vuul engaging in wars with other major houses and even fighting against their former allies for a period of ten years. As a result of their military might and magical prowess, the Vul'Adnian Magistrate empire became a dominant force in Galfin and shaped the political and social landscape for many years to come.
