    Social Status

Pathfinder are considered, by most, to be the grunts of the knottery professions.

    Demographics

    Innoit

Anyone can theoretically tie a knot made from animal hair of any thickness, provided they have the proper education to do so.   However, in order to meet the maintenance demands required of the qhapaq ñan, quantity over quality became the Tawantinsuyu policy. Though it is a necessary job, it is so comparatively simple that only the least talented camayoc.

    Operations

    Tools

    Hand Strings

These are featherlight strands of strings attached to the tips of the pathfinder's fingers. Closing their eyes and channeling camay through them would cause the strings to rise and tug in the direction of the siq'i lines.

    Ceque Wands

This is a set of two robust, configurative knots tightly wound around a steel rod. It has the additional boon of being able to find other features of interest on the landscape.

    Workplace

    Qhapaq Ñan

    Culuncos
A complex network of roads carved into the jungle’s floor and hidden amidst the vegetation.
    Dhani Lines
A basic road network cutting around the salt desert through the Silver Mountains.
    Bridges
Finders follow the lines higher and higher until they reach the open sky where a bridge would follow.

    Provided Services

    Ceque Organization

Certain lineages and social classes, assigned to particular locales, are responsible for the ritual upkeep of huacas and overseeing calendrical festivities believed to be critical undertakings to returning the winds. The pathfinders' role is to give a careful spatial reckoning of the landscape and ritual mapping to the eventual construction of a road.   However, given most road connections that might be considered vital have already been built, pathfinders are relegated to just monitoring the winds for future plans that require knottery devices.

    Dangers & Hazards

    Rural Heights

While roads like the capac ñan are wide and well travelled, they notably lie on the lowlands. Stronger siq'i lines exist the higher one climbs into the mountains. Not a lot of these places are well treked or populated. Occasionally, a pathfinder team would disappear while working far-enough away from other population centers; either due to rebel elements or simple accidents.

The world's main story follows its own series if events where siq'i lines play a role. However, not all the lines are mapped so most adventures are not centered around the lines.   These table are meant to offer guidance summarizing where the siqi' lines may be found and whether or not they may be present for a personalized game.
