East T@Ö#Å3

Geography

East T@Ö#Å3 lies east of West T@Ö#Å3, is surrunded by Wasteland on east and north, and also borders Haunted Forest. It’s only slightly smaller than West T@Ö#Å3, but quite different from it in many ways.

This area is mostly flat with not much going on, but it has the largest death flower forest, that is actually just one giant flower.

Climate

East T@Ö#Å3 is very hot and dry. There’s barely any rain here, and the rainy Seasons are short. Temperatures here can even get up to 70°C, making it just hardly bearable for people living here.

The main sun of this area is black sun, but this area also gets some light from the golden sun. Golden sun is a lot brighter and kinder than the black sun and is usually more visible in the colder parts of the year. While it is the hottest sun in Å+*4~, it is actually the least hot one here.

Despite the extreme heat, the weather here doesn’t otherwise get too extreme. Tornadoes may happen in Wasteland, but it’s unusual for them to appear here.

Plants & Animals

Barely anything can survive here, but you’d be surprised at how many strange creatures actually live here. The main things you will see here are death flowers, dead trees, and blackbirds. This area, especially closer to Wasteland is full of strange and creepy creatures though, from dirt snakes to scorpions, to unbearable amounts of strange insects. There are spiders as big as a wox here! Districts close to Haunted Forest may have some other strange creatures such as birdmice and flying woxes. Birdmice are kinda cute, but flying woxes are too terrifyingly big for something that flies around. They are actually more common here in the city, because there’s no way something this big could fly around a forest full of trees.

Now as far as the trees go, not all trees here actually dead. Outside of Haunted forest you may find some trees that are actually alive. A bit too alive actually. You see, as this baren dead land has barely any nutrients in it, these trees sometimes have to uproot themselves and travel a bit to find a new fertile spot. In early year, after the rainy season, they will grow strange cursed fruits that are said to be full of blood - or at least “tree blood”, whatever that might be. They’re really just chilling here, doing their best to survive tho and aren’t a threat to people living here. Just a bit creepy.

East T@Ö#Å3 also has the largest dead flower forest. This forest is actually just one flower - or more like a bush that branches out across a large area. Many small critters have found their home in here, but if any larger animal or a person would try to get in there, they’d only get tangled in the bush and probably die there.

Towns

Towns here are complete opposite of what you might see in West T@Ö#Å3. People would boil alive in those metal buildings, so you’ll see more conventional buildings here. The area is also a lot more poor than West T@Ö#Å3. It’s quite strange really, while the very west of T@Ö#Å3 is one of the richest places, the east is one of the poorest ones, and it shows. The buildings here are all dark, brown or grey, and many are visibly damaged and not as upkept as you’d see in any other place. Of course, West T@Ö#Å3 has its fancy expensive electronics to sell, but East T@Ö#Å3 doesn’t have much to offer which is detrimental to its economy.

Nevertheless, there are wealthy districts to be found here. The ones closer to West T@Ö#Å3 are noticeably better off, and the ones close to Wasteland and Haunted forest are cashing in as interesting tourist spots. Besides that, they are also the main supply and trade hubs for Wasteland and bat settlements and make nice money on the supplies that come through here. East T@Ö#Å3 also tries to follow the example of Central District and create its own exciting entertainment and celebrity culture, though it’s more focused on freaks and promoting the general strangeness of the area. In any case, even the rich districts here are not what they are in Å+*4~ or West T@Ö#Å3. Houses here are smaller, and often deliberately left in some degree of disrepair, to keep up with the creepy vibe of this whole area.

People

In East TGÖ#Å3 you’ll find just about the most diversity in our world. Here you’ll find all kinds of people - moles, (moth) fairies, freaks, bat people, artificial people, and it’s the only part of the world where alien hybrids were spotted. Everyone is welcome here to do whatever they want and to live whatever kind of life they want. The “everything goes” policy has been in place here since the time of The Black King.

The families here are similar to Å+*4~ and West T@Ö#Å3, though a bit more open to strangers. While people in West T@Ö#Å3 might be a bit distrustful and want to stay away from potentially dangerous strangers, people here welcome danger with open arms. They are not quite as unhinged as people of Wasteland, but a lot of people on their way to or from Wasteland come through here or stay for a while so the place is full of unpredictable weirdos anyway.

Resources

Natural resources are hard to find here, and they are mostly limited to blackwood of the trees of Haunted Forest and death flowers.

East T@Ö#Å3 makes most of its money from people trading goods with people living in Wasteland. Before one can move to wasteland, it is tradition for them to give away all of their possessions, which is a pretty good source of income for people living near Wasteland. East T@Ö#Å3 also has its own strange and creepy celebrity culture based on strange and rare freaks that live in this area. People coming to see their shows bring in a lot of money, and usually stay here for a while, visiting other tourist attractions and spending a lot of money here. It’s worth visiting any of the museums full of strange historical artifacts found in Wasteland and Haunted Forest as well.
