Wasteland of T@Ö#Å3
Location
Wasteland of T@Ö#Å3 is divided into two parts. One lies on the very east of the continent, with East T@Ö#Å3 on the west, and Haunted Forest on the north, and the other one is located on the north of the continent, surrounded by Mountains in the west, West T@Ö#Å3 and East T@Ö#Å3 on the south and Haunted Forest on the east.
There's not much of anything happening in the northern part, but there's more than you might think in the east. And so, the land is divided into whole 5 regions:
Nature
The climate here is dry and land is barren for the most part. The parts bordering the Mountains are colder and may see some snow or rain. Similarly, the parts closer to Haunted Forest may be more humid, but can get quite hot. The vast flat land is also no stranger to tornados, but that’s another reason why no one lives here.
Only plants that grow here are dead trees, dead shrubbery and tumbleweeds near Haunted forest. Animals are rare, but you may catch a glimpse of a dirt snake here and there. As the name suggests, these live in underground dwellings in the dirt. Don’t be surprised if you also notice a wild homunculus. Bugs are a problem here.
The only sun here is Black Sun, but a few rays of Golden sun may shine through at certain times.

Towns and People
Towns
People here live in the abandoned ruins of the old buildings. Many live here permanently, but even more come here only for a while; from a few weeks up to even a few years. Life here isn’t for everyone. The buildings are run down at best, many are in ruins, and infrastructure is for the most part nonexistent. A few paths connect the buildings and only a few buildings have electricity and running water. Buildings are used for shelter or storage, and people have attempted to renew only a few.
People
People here don’t tend to form large families like elsewhere. They usually form small groups of 2-5 people who live together, but at the same time they all consider themselves one big family. They know the only way to survive here is to stick together. In many ways they live the same lifestyle as people did back when they were still hiding underground. They form a cult like community, working for the benefit of everyone, sharing everything. Everyone will be taken care of and provided what they need, but they are not to take more or try to benefit themselves on account of others. Breaking the rules will bring upon you the wrath of the group, and that is not a good thing when you live so far away from civilization and so close to Haunted Forest. And while they may care for each other, they don’t really trust outsiders.
The visitors of these parts are usually one of three kinds:
- The fairies who deliver gifts from Glitter God and Satan. They are always welcomed and treated kindly.
- Second group are people who want to stay here and become a part of the group, for at least a while. If they want to do that, they have to prove to them that they are willing to become part of their community, for better or for worse. They are expected to bring supplies that will benefit the community, and not try to benefit themselves on the account of anyone else. Some come here for the long term, and some come for a short while, to escape from their everyday life.
- Third group are visitors. Wasteland and their people can barely care for themselves and don’t seem to have much to offer to visitors. But one thing they do have, is access to the ancient artifact that are highly valued by citizens of T@Ö#Ä3. Knowing that supplies are scarce in Wasteland, people take full advantage of what they can offer, which is mostly ancient artifacts and dead flowers that only grow there, but can be used to make drugs. They trade them for money, food or other things, and won’t hesitate to scam the visitors out of their valuables. They will steal from people and keep them hostage until they get what they want. If you want to bypass the shady residents of Wasteland and dig up some artefacts on your own, don’t expect to come back from there.
Another thing to note here it, that there may or may not be another type of settlements here, inhabited by bat people. No one knows much about them, they're hidden deep in the Wasteland, in places not marked on any map. They live a simple life wihout the luxuires of modern cities, such as electricity or running water, but they have set up their own lifestlyle, resembling what the one that vampires of old legends might live. You could say that they're sort of like amish of our world, but like, if the amish pretended to be vampires. It all makes sense I promise.
Resources
Wasteland doesn’t have much to offer in terms of useful resources. But what can be found in Wasteland are ancient artifacts of the lost civilization, and dead flowers. While most of the world was rebuilt and renovated, this part still remains mostly intact. Because of this it’s one of few places in the world where the remains of the ancient civilization can be found, and their rarity makes them that much more valuable.
Another thing are dead flowers that only grow in this area. These are flowers with black blossoms, growing on seemingly wilted dry shrubs. These can be used to make medicine or drugs, which are both valuable to residents of City of T@Ö#Ä3.
Last but not least, the residents of wasteland tend to be quite crafty themselves. Among ancient artifacts, the bones of the ancient people may also be found. These too are sometimes sold, but people also tend to use them to make anything from small decorations to pieces of furniture, that they can sell as a unique piece for a good price.
