Northern Wasteland
Two Wastelands?
Wasteland of T@Ö#Ä3 is actually divided in two parts: Eastern Wasteland and Northern Wasteland. Eastern Wasteland is the one that people usually think of when talking about Wasteland. The one with Wasteland Capital, ruins of the old civilization, Graveyard and the elusive bat people. But people don’t tend to think much about Northern Wasteland. But though it’s not really populated, it's quite strange and worth mentioning.
Land of Extremes
There’s a good reason why Northern Wasteland is so unpopulated - well apart from the fact that it’s literally a wasteland. It spans from the Mountain Area on the west to Haunted Forest on the east. The west can get really cold and it’s not uncommon to see snow here in the winter months, but the east falls into one of the hottest areas of the world.
But that’s not all - the pert in between is exceptionally barren. Even dead trees don’t grow here and not even ruins can be found here. There are no animals here either, and nothing else other than just dead barren desert.
But this area has something no other area has - tornados. Probably tornados are exactly why no one lives here and this area is left to be nothing more than a wasteland. Well, tornados may occur in some other parts of T@Ö#Ä3, but not nearly as often. Other than that, the area is also known for particularly brutal thunderstorms that are the worst in eastern part of Northern Wasteland. People living in areas nearby use this to their advantage - they have figured out ways to produce electricity from lightning.

War of the Black and White King
Because it’s so unpopulated, this was where White King’s army entered the continent of T@Ö#Ä3 when the War of the Black and White King started. They sailed here on the ships which they anchored on the north. From here they made their way west, towards the mountain area. Right there, on the border of Mountains and Northern Wasteland is where the war took place.
World’s Most Giant Chess Board
As a memorial and a new way to fight wars, the World's Most Giant Chess Board was set up in Northern Wasteland as well. It’s not located exactly at the location of the battle, but more towards the east - just in the sweet spot where the tornados are less common so that the board and its chess pieces don’t get damaged.
