Money
Basic Info
The whole world shares the same currency that is simply called $ [1].Money of the Flat Earth is made of golden leaves, harvested from the golden trees in Heaven. These are melted and then made into gold sheets or coins. Coins that require more gold to make are of higher values than sheets. For saving or larger purchases, gold bars can be used as well. They vary greatly in values.
Values:
- golden sheets: 1$, 2$, 4$, 8$
- coins: 10$ (=16g), 20$ (=32g), 40$ (=64g), 80$ (=128g)
- bars: 100$ (=265g), 200$ (=512g), 400$ (=1024g), 800$ (=2048g)[2]
There are only full values and no cents. Sometimes, items can be used in place of money. This is mostly when it comes to religious offerings, or doing any business with gods. Moles get their monthly pay as a combination of money and items, most commonly food. They also give offerings in form of material goods to gods, and in turn may also receive items from them as a reward for their good deeds. You can try to trade goods instead of money when buying stuff, but that depends on the shop owners mood and the value your offered items have for them.
Production and Distribution
The entire production process takes place in Heaven. Here, faires tend to golden tress than can only be found here in Heaven. Every month, these trees grow their leaves that are then harvested and used for many different things. One of these things is money.
After the leaves are harvested, they are sorted by use, and sent to melting facilites that are also located here in Heaven. All the leaves are melted down into a liquid substance, that can then get molded into different shapes. They lighter golden sheets weigh from 1g-8g, a bit heavier coins can weigh up to 128g, and large golden bars can go up to 2kg.
Once all the money is produced, it gets distributed to people. This is done during the monthy pay in Glitter Temples. All the money already gets sorted in Heaven, and is then shipped to Glitter Temples across the world, where it can get handed over to their new righthul owner. Up tp this point, only fairies are allowed to handle new money.
Satan's followers get paid just the same every month in Satan's temples, but they don't recieve newly made money. They may only get previously used money that was donated to Satan or otherwise acquired form second hand. No matter tho, all money is money and it's worth just the same.
