Seasons

In a world of our size, with no less than 5 suns, the seasons might be a little bit erratic to an outside observer. The weather can turn really fast from freezing cold to scorching heat. These differences are most extreme in T@Ö#Ä3, but Ä+*4~ isn’t falling far behind. Generally, the weather can be separated into 7 main seasons. You can currently see the table of seasons below:

Freezing Winter

Average Temps: -10°C and below
Places Affected: Mountains

The most freezing of winters to be encountered in our world can be found in the most western part of the world, in Mountain Area. With the blue sun constantly shining down on this area, this place never experiences any real warmth. Seven out of eleven months here the temperature here drops below 0˚C, sometimes even below -10˚C. For moles, these temperatures are insufferable, and will stay away from this place.

During these months there is no snow, but watch out for the cold winds. Or not, people don't come here in the first place so they don't need to worry about the weatehr here.

Snowy Winter

Average Temps: -10°C - 0°C
Places Affected: Mountains, West T@Ö#Ä3

A bit more kind than freezing winter, in this season it may actually snow. This winter occurs in Mountain Area for the remaining four months, and also in western parts of T@Ö#Ä3 and Wasteland. Here, snow may fall for three months, between the X. and II. month. In parts closer to the center of T@Ö#Ä3, it may also rain more often. Temperatures may often drop below 0˚C, but don’t get higher than 5˚C. For T@Ö#Ä3, this is the main cold season where people go into hiding. All the cities are shut down for an entire month. In Mountain Area, snowstorms are frequent.

Rainy Season

Average Temps: 0°C - 10°C
Places Affected: Ä+*4~, Fairy Gardens, T@Ö#Ä3

Rainy season is the best known to the residents of Fairy Gardens and Ä+*4~. Here this means a whole month of non-stop, often heavy rain. This only lasts a month, the Ø month, and during this month all of the people tend to go into hiding.

In T@Ö#Ä3 and such periods of rain and in certain areas snow are well recorded too, but here the rain isn’t constant at least.

Due to constant rain, this time gets pretty cold. In parts of T@Ö#Ä3 temperatures drop as low as 0°C, but only rarely get above 10°C.

Chill Summer

Average Temps: 10°C - 30°C
Places Affected: Ä+*4~, Fairy Gardens, Desert, Wastelans of Ä+*4~, T@Ö#Ä3, Wasteland of T@Ö#Ä3

Chill Summer, with temperatures between 10°C and 30°C is finally warm enough for moles to function properly. This season starts later, has lower temperatures and lasts longer in East T@Ö#Ä3, but comes earlier and is shorter in West T@Ö#Ä3, Fairy Gardens and Ä+*4~. The main rainy season has ended by now, and rain showers are getting less and less frequent throughout this season. By the end of II. or III. month, depending on the area, the temperatures get up to 30°C.

Warm Summer

Average Temps: 30°C - 50°C
Places Affected: Ä+*4~, Fairy Gardens, Desert, Wastelans of Ä+*4~, T@Ö#Ä3, Wasteland of T@Ö#Ä3, Cliffs of T@Ö#Ä3

Along with Chill Summer, Warm Summer is the most favorable to moles. Fairy Gardens and Ä+*4~ spend most of the year in pleasant temperatures between 30°C and 50°C. West T@Ö#Ä3 is lucky to ever get temperatures hotter than this either, but in East T@Ö#Ä3 and Wasteland this season is much shorter, before it gets even hotter.

While for many, especially in West T@Ö#Ä3 and Fairy Gardens, temperatures that exceed 54°C seem a bit much, frequent thunderstorms help cool off the air at least a little bit. Due to the proximity to the Mountain area and the waves of cold air coming from there, T@Ö#Ä3 is known to experience quite violent hailstorms as well.

Hot Summer

Average Temps: 50°C - 60°C
Places Affected: Ä+*4~, Desert, Wastelans of Ä+*4~, East T@Ö#Ä3, Wasteland of T@Ö#Ä3, Cliffs of T@Ö#Ä3

Temperatures of 50°C - 60°C during hot summers are just about as much moles are willing to take. In Ä+*4~ this is a two month period of high summer, where many like to take some time off to travel - preferably to the cooler Fairy Gardens.

In East T@Ö#Ä3 and Desert the incessant heat wave lasts for four months, but in Wasteland of Ä+*4~ the heat doesn’t let up for the entire six months.

This is a terrible dry season where it rains only rarely, and some even say that it does rain more frequently than it seems, but the raindrops just evaporate long before even reaching the ground.

Hell on Earth

Average Temps: 60°C or above
Places Affected: Wasteland of T@Ö#Ä3, Cliffs of T@Ö#Ä3

Now if you thought temperatures up to 60°C are bad, it does get even worse. In Wasteland of T@Ö#Ä3, Haunted Forest and Cliffs of T@Ö#Ä3, temperatures get above 60°C, sometimes even above 70°C. This season is known as Hell on Earth for a reason. Because it is pure Hell. There is no surprise that the Gates of Hell are located here. Not much of anything can survive here other than dead trees and nutcases living in Wasteland.

The fact that the hottest area in the world is in the same half of the world as the coldest one just goes to show just how insane this part of the world is.
