|Togue Jadey[/quote] The Jadey Clan is one of the most illustrious and well known in Ethnis, and boasts a rich history of offspring which has spanned nations and Banners alike.

Youthful Aspiraitons

From the muck...

The first known Jadey was Togue Jadey. He was born in the Marianiyan territories to a household of mixed skills; his mother was a tailor, his father an herb farmer, and his grandfather a mortarmaker—he had no other living relatives save for his four brothers and sisters, none of whom survived to adulthood.   Once he was old enough, Togue took to the muckpits of the city's edge and, as many of the time did, shoveled through them in search of the treasures of the old city and for the thick-shelled abalone which lived in the muck. A sharp eye and sharper wit made him a capable abalone hunter, and his muscle helped with the rest—he became one of the better abalone hunters of his city, and made decent money for his family doing so.

...to the streets...

Togue was never known for his patience. He was known for his grit, his tenacity, his inability to accept the way things were. He was an industrious spirit, and before he was even an adult had organized the other abalone hunters into a small gang. He, the most capable at finding abalone, found it, and they all dug it up together. They fought other hunters for the mudpits, giving them the ultimatum to leave or join, and their numbers grew.   Soon, the muck pits weren't enough. Togue's gang spilled back into the city, guarding markets for hire and shaking down thieves.   By the time he was in his twenties, Togue had grown to control much of the poor side of his city. He was its guard, and soon its commander. He pushed the people towards working together rather than against each other, and poorside began to grow.

...to the city.

The guards of the city did not appreciate Togue's gradual extension into their territory, and one night came from the inner walls of the city to burn down his ramshackle empire. They found themselves expected, ambushed, and destroyed with overwhelming force: an army of the angry masses lead by the selfsame abalone hunters he'd allied himself with so long ago—now adults, robust, and full of his infectious loathing.

An Industrious Mind

The City

Togue wanted more. With those guards dead he took their gear and, before the other guards could respond, stormed the hold of the Guard Captain and, after a siege lasting several hours, broke into his home and personally faced him in hand to hand combat.   Bearing the severed head of the captain, and coated in his blood, Togue stood on the rooftop of the hold and called for a new reign. Such was the fury in his eyes that some guards ran and the rest turned to his side, the rest were embroiled in bloodshed, and fell before his increasingly large mob. The people were tired of the tyranny of their Sathiidic Lords.   In the end he took the city. But he wanted more.

The Roads

So he took the roads, and again proved his intellect and industriousness. Under the advisement of the merchants of his home he forcibly sucked the life from the nearby towns until they bent the knee...

The Region

...and the region fell soon thereafter. Bordered on mountains along two edges, the impassable forest by another, and the ocean by the last, Togue had secured the hardest to take land of the greater region. He set his roots down, and grew.

A Strange Power

Togue's power wasn't just power of muscle or power of the mind. He fated himself. Don't ask me how he did it, but somewhere in taking his region he found a tower of The Ancient Haimarchy, a place of corrupt Selschaeus, and somehow managed to survive its miasma enough to loot it. It was there that he found one of the elder Divinoriums.

It spoke to him, it told him secrets... it granted him knowledge beyond any he should have had and by the time he got his first grey hair he was already a Monolith.

In growing his empire, Togue pushed to have squads infiltrate the ancient ruins dotting the land—cursed places from which few single entrants ever returned. He believed it to be the home to many ancient artifacts, a hunch which proved to be true.   Among the many treasures he found an ancient Divinorium of a powerful Monolith. They spoke, and it taught him many of the nuances of the meta, of tactics, and of everything else it knew. It did not entirely recall its life anymore, such is the nature of Divinoriums.

A Sprawling Empire

Togue's influence spread across the land, less as a king and more as a shadow. He was happy to hold his plot of land, but he wanted influence over many. The Divinorium had taught him the danger of controlling the land and the finer points of puppeting it, and so he sought to do just that.   He left the territories for the first time in his life, and began to build outposts in new lands, homes which he could live in and operate from. He sired many children, and gave the 'worthy one' empires of their own.   Though eventually Togue himself faded—death uncertain and unspoken of—his bloodline continues today. It is uncertain just how many Sazashi are related to him, and out of those how many still carry the secret pact of his family, but they are there, pulling the strings.

Tikr'ri Jheim Tor Jadey

Pirate, Martyr
Son of Togue
Togue's least favored son, Tigari fought alongside Snowmane in the Siege of Mothelkhan against Valuser'rh. He lived a drunkard but died a hero, which Togue considered to be "his only contribution."

Treizcha Nechri Tor Jadey

Industrious businesswoman, Monolith
Daughter of Togue
Known for her business acumen and mastery of Divination, Treizcha was an intimidating business partner. After Earth became a protectorate of Aempis, Aempis paid for her to move to Earth and collaborate with other Sazashi businesses to dominate the economy with the help of her sister.

Rechia Salyd Tor Jadey

Assassin, Diplomat, Con-Artist
Daughter of Togue
Of all of Togue's children, it was Rechia he spent the most time with. She became learned in his brutality, his underhanded ways, and his silver tongue. While it was Treizcha who handled the business of growing the Jadey command on Earth, it was Rechia who did whatever it took to sink their claws in and call Earth their own.

Osborne Jadey

Member of the Directoriate
Son of Reichia and Unknown
An android through and through, but once a Hiserabi, Osborne is one of the founding members of The Jupiter Syndicate and a core driver of its vision. It is uncertain if he carries the will of Togue.

Nicodemus Jague Roka Tor Jadey

The Wayward Son
Son of Tigari and Krinna
Nicodemus detested the empire his family had built long before he even knew the breadth of it. To him it could only be used for villainy. He was thought to be killed in The Rilaem War but a doppleganger who surfaced shortly after the war leaves his fate a mystery.

Alexander Mhurrin Arsko Tor Jadey

The Unbreakable Wall
Son of Tigari and Krinna
Nick's twin brother, a giant who survived the Rilaem war as a hero only due to extensive augmentation. After the war he became a hermit, and was trained by Ultus Mountainfist to be his replacement—good foresight, as Ultus died in The Harrowing. Alex lives to this day, wandering the stars and, by his training from Ultus, wielding power which is considered beyond compare.
