Bestiary February 2023

My entry for the February 2023 Bestiary, building out the Fauna of Eshai, my take on the Land of the Fey/Feywild/Fey Realm/etc.

1. Wings -- Migibi -- A tiny bird-like plant with a voracious appetite for insects.
2. Stripes --

4. Shell -- Kaseni -- A giant crab-like fey water-elemental that can hide itself beneath loose soil or sand.
5. Colorful -- Kyn -- A colorful fey light-form that enjoys tricking people, and discovering what they are hiding.
6. Nocturnal -- Saavgi -- A mysterious fey butterfly that is only visible at night, they are nearly invisible during the day were you to find one slumbering.
7. Mythical -- Jinveyl -- An ethereal creature theorized to be a guide for lost souls, though not much is known of it.

10. Danger -- Vaul -- Small rabbits that are incredibly dangerous. Do not underestimate them.

13. Shriek -- Marshrud -- A skeletal elk that runs its prey to exhaustion, or frightens them to death.
14. Howl --
15. Tamed -- Shirdalix -- A hunting hound sized gryphon that hunts in packs, tamed for its usefulness in hunting both land and air creatures.
16. Pack -- Pa'aru -- Wolves born of lightning, they hunt in packs when thunder crashes overhead.
17. Burrow -- Aklu -- Desert roaming fey scorpions that burrow during the hottest and coldest parts of the day.
18. Bond -- Naksiya -- Tricksy little fey foxes that choose an individual to soulbind to.
19. Stinky -- Oza -- They look like star-nosed moles with extra protrusions on their back and they smell like rotten meat.
20. Gentle -- Matu -- Cattle-esque gentle beasts that are often kept by farmers for their fur and milk.
21. Messenger -- Munumbra -- Small palm sized birds that "connect" to others of their kind, acting as conduits for conversation.

24. Silent -- Mara -- A plant-like creature that lures its prey to them with scent.
25. Parasite -- Blight Leech -- A leech that sucks your blood but can also pass on the Blight, a dangerous disease that can corrupt your mind as much as kill you.
26. Predator -- Kat'chi -- A huge bioluminescent predator that dazzles its prey.
