Marshrud (MARSH-rood)

The Marshrud is a skeletal elk of nightmares that shrieks as it hunts its prey.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Appears to be a skeletal elk with blazing orange eyes.

Ecology and Habitats

Often found in swamps or areas that border swamps, most commonly grasslands and forests.

Behaviour

Runs its prey to death or terror, whichever comes first. The Marshrud does not appear to tire, and thus it trails its prey until its prey is exhausted. Its eerie shrieking cry as it follows its prey leads to the belief that the Marshrud might also cause its prey immense terror during the hunt as well.
