Pa'aru (pah-ah-ROO)

Wolves born of lightning, they hunt in packs when thunder crashes overhead.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Pa'aru might look like wolves from afar, but once you get closer you will notice that they are almost pure lightning.
Their form shifts and crackles with energy, but for the most part you can make out a wolven silhouette.

Genetics and Reproduction

They do not appear to reproduce like most animals, and thus have been classified as an elemental as they appear to be born of lightning itself.

Growth Rate & Stages

Unknown as no one has ever seen a young Pa'aru, only full grown.

Ecology and Habitats

Pa'aru can appear anywhere a thunderstorm occurs, and they appear only when a storm is actively emitting lightning bolts. When the lightning stops, the Pa'aru vanish.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Unknown. The Pa'aru hunt like normal wolves, but as they vanish the moment a lightning storm dies down, it is uncertain if they actually require meat, or if they hunt solely for sport.

Behaviour

Pa'aru are often found in packs, as lightning often strikes in multitude, but it is also common to find a single one as lightning can also strike miles apart during the same storm.
Once they appear, they seem to have a sole focus on hunting, and then they vanish, perhaps back into the skies.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Pa'aru have a very keen sense of smell and hearing. They cannot, however, see in the dark.
