Seafall Docks

History

The original docks were part of the original buildings in the outpost that would become Seafall.

When House Stormrider was created, the docks were enlarged from a single jetty to three jetties made of wood. Ryland Stormrider also had the Statue of Mara Carved on the edge of the docks where it still stands today.

When Alric Stormrider Distroyed the forest tribes and tore down Vardent Hollow, he is rumoured to have pillaged the driftwood crown from its vaults. The items absorbs light, and adjusts its size to the wearers head. This unique ability to absorb and then shine brightly in the dark meant was placed on Mara’s head to act as a lighthouse to guide ships to shore.

When Ivar Stormrider Came to power, he replaced the 3 wooden jetties with large stone and mortar jetties, and sunk 3 more additional wooden jetties bringing the total to 6.

When Hilde Stormrider came to power she followed in her fathers footsteps to focus on maritime trade, and replaced the wooden docks again with stone and mortar jetties. These is the current state of the docks in Seafall today. Though the mortar is cracked and the docks are strong, and continues to host merchant ships of all sizes.
