Alric was born in 1000, His father Ryland Stormrider was granted a new title for House Stormrider by the Sultan of the day. Alric showed real military prowess and had a sound grasp of military tactics. In 1026, Ryland was killed in combat with the forest tribes, trying to take the forest keep of Vardent Hollow .
Now inheriting the head of house from his late father Aldric's fearless spirit led him to confront the forest tribes that inhabited the lands around Seafall, . With strategic brilliance and valor, he drove them out, establishing a firm foothold for House Stormrider and securing the territory for the kingdom. The name Stormrider became synonymous with bravery and resilience, as Aldric's expeditions weathered the storms of the untamed wilderness. His reputation and name was carried across Belkar.
During this time he also changed the flag of House stormrider to a kraken on a field of blue- the flag that stands for the house to this day.
Alric died in 1054 at the age of 54, he left one son Ivar Stormrider
