Vardent Hollow

Built by the forest people in the Age of Petty Kings. The foredt people were first encoutered by Ryland Stormrider in the expeditions of 955 CA, though House Evergreen had long traded with these tribes. After the military expedition led by Ryland Stormrider distroyed the fortress in 1072, the forest tribes fled to the protection of House Evergreen.

The waystone on Crimson Pine Road marks the spot to head north and soon will stumble into Vardent Hollow.

The large keep is fitted with a curtain wall that stands 25ft high, and every 100ft or so, a tower of 40 ft looms higher still. The walls are in disrepair and many of the towers have colapsed, but even still it makes imposeing defenses.

There is a central cathedral style keep stands in the centre l, looming 60ft into the air.

Roughly 200 ft separates the curtain wall from the central keep.

Historical Events

Vardent Hollow was inhabeted by goblins, which turned out to be the House Brown Bear . Approximately 1350 goblins are expected to be living in Vardent Hollow, including mostly noncombatants.

The ruin was also the site for the Raid on Vardent Hollow
