Ageless

Ageless is a condition found in items, technology, and buildings left behind by The Forgotten. It simply means that whatever is affected by it can not be damaged in any way. Ageless buildings for example remain untouched by time. They show no signs of erosion. They survived The Pulse without a scratch on them. They look exactly the same as the day they were built.

Cause

It is still unknown to us how the Forgotten created this condition for their most important buildings, items, and technologies. Throughout history many wild speculations have been made. From alien technologies to magic. No one has ever been able to prove any of these theories. Perhaps however we were never meant to find the truth.

I feel like the fact that this is qualified as a "condition" (instead of a technology for instance) to be really interesting, it tells a lot about how its perceived in your world ^^

You are right. That really tells a lot about how it is perceived. Thank you!

I also like how this is considered a condition. That's not at all what I would have used for something like this! I like it. Nice use of the template.   Your world is so mysterious. :D

Thank you. :) I think the people of Ealdwyll would view it this way because they do not know how it was achieved.

This is a really fascinating article, even though it's short. The implications of buildings/objects that are untouched by age... I'm looking forward to seeing more about this. :D

Proof that you don’t need 1000 words to introduce a concept in your world that makes people want to dive down the rabbit hole head first! Nice!

I like that you focus in on an often overlooked concept. To make it an actual condition makes it even more creative. Awesome work.   I wonder how people approach studying it. Do they have any special tools (ones that work and maybe ones that are complete nonsense) they use trying to figure it out?

Thank you. And that is an excellent question! I don't have an answer yet though. Because I have not yet thought about how they study this.
