Eidolon

The Eidolon is the leader of the secret organization of necromancers of House Siltevelar in Isolabirre known as Revenant.
The current Eidolon of Revenant is Dhathridh Gowriat'Siltevelar.

Appointment

The Eidolon of Revenant is selected by the twelve Shades of Revenant from among themselves to become their leader. Upon selection, the new Eidolon chooses one of the members of House Siltevelar to become a new Shade. Because only the most competent members of the House are chosen to become Shades of Revenant, it is not unusual for the organization to have fewer than twelve members until such time as qualified candidates are identified.

Duties

The Eidolon leads Revenant in research and practicing necromantic magic, usually deep in the Unknown Depths of the caverns below Isolabirre, beyond perception and discovery by the Yfeljang or his Interface, Sazzok Tygowriat'Zaquarn.
She also maintains contacts with the leadership of the Cathedral of Thalatte, guiding them in furthering the influence of Thalatte on Derkomai, and with the Vampirim Desdemona Bátoriová in Daskar, from whom she obtains reagents for and guidance on casting powerful necromantic spells in exchange for Drow Elvirim to feed on.
